About hCG

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone produced during pregnancy, made by the developing placenta after conception, and later by the placental component, syncytiotrophoblast. However, some cancerous tumors produce this hormone as well, therefore, elevated levels observed when the patient is a male or a non-pregnant female can lead to a cancer diagnosis. The pituitary analogue of hCG, known as luteinizing hormone (LH), is produced in the pituitary gland of males and females of all ages. Like other gonadotropins, hCG can be extracted from urine or by genetic modification. Because of its similarity to LH, it is extensively used in lieu of luteinizing hormone (LH).
Why Optimize hCG Levels
  • Stimulates ovulation
  • Enhances progesterone production
  • Stimulates the Leydig cells to synthesize testosterone in men
  • Stimulates spermatogenesis in the Sertoli cells in men with hypogonadism and fertility issues

What we are doing at Forever Ageless

We frequently use hCG preparation to treat male andropause, hypogonadism and in combination with other hormones and modalities in other hormonal optimization protocols.
